Women With A Mission - Hope Released
The Church of God Women's Discipleship department is teaming with the Youth & Discipleship department to bring hope to Cota Columbia.
There are young women who find themselves on the streets of Bogata with no hope of a better life. They are dehumanized as they are victimized by prostitution. Without intervention, they suffer unimaginable abuses and are separated from their children.
We can provide a place for them to live. We can offer protection. Through your generosity, they will be given an education and opportunity to gain job skills. We release hope into their lives. When we become God's hands releasing hope, these young women won't have to rely on prostitution for their next meal. They won't have to sell their bodies for a roof over their heads. They won't have to be separated from their children.
We have the opportunity to see Hope Released for these at-risk women. Mark 12:30-31 says, "'And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
The evidence has proven Rosalba's ministry method of restoring, loving, and providing as effective. The Church of God has caught her vision and answers the call to help. When we release what we have in our hands and hearts, we will see Hope Released in the lives of the hurting.
